FAQ’s
Once your deposit has been received, we order and pay in full for your fabric. If your chosen fabric is in stock, it generally takes 5-7 working days to be shipped to us.
Depending on the size of your order, we usually quote 4 – 6 weeks manufacturing time. For lager projects this time frame can be longer
Installation can take a few hours, or several days depending on what is involved.
All curtains and blinds are made with our local manufacturing partners, here on the Gold Coast
We have a commitment to use Australian made whenever possible. Some of our fabrics are also made in New Zealand and Europe and of course Asia.
Sheer curtains can easily be laundered, but natural fabrics like cotton, linen and silk may shrink. For this reason, we do recommend a polyester blend fabric. There are many polyester fabrics that look like natural fabrics.
We do not recommend you wash lined or blockout coated curtains. These fabrics will lose their “finish” if washed. It is best to vacuum these curtains with an upholstery attachment to keep them dust free. Any marks can be spot treated carefully.
Cabling and electrical connections for 240V motorised products must be completed by a licensed electrical contractor.
As we are not licensed electricians, we work with a number of trusted electrical contractors who can arrange and complete the required electrical work. Alternatively, for new builds and renovations, we are happy to liaise directly with your preferred electrician to ensure the necessary provisions are in place.

Absolutely. Many of our clients live interstate or overseas, and we have extensive experience managing window furnishing projects for owners who are not based on the Gold Coast.
We make the process as easy and seamless as possible, with consultations and meetings available online when required. We can manage the project from initial consultation and product selection through to installation, keeping you informed every step of the way.
Where required, we can also liaise with and coordinate other trades involved in your project, helping ensure everything comes together smoothly and on schedule.
Wherever you are, we can make managing your window furnishings simple. Talk to us about how we can manage your project for you.
Like any mechanical system, your curtain tracks will benefit from a little regular care. To keep your curtains operating smoothly and help extend the life of the track and its components, we recommend applying a food-grade silicone spray to the track twice a year.
It is important to use a silicone-based spray only and avoid petroleum-based lubricants, which can damage components and attract dust. Food-grade silicone spray is available from Spring Crest.
There are a few things we recommend doing before your installation.
Clean your windows
This is a good opportunity to clean your windows, particularly on the inside. Installing curtains onto dirty or dusty windows can mark your new curtains during installation.
Clear the area around your windows
Our installers need clear, unobstructed access to each window so they can work safely and efficiently. Please allow approximately 1 metre of clear space parallel to the glass wherever possible.
Furniture, beds and other items that obstruct access will need to be moved before our installers arrive. Climbing over furniture or standing on chairs and beds is not safe and our installers cannot do this.
For more information, you can download our “On the Day of Installation” guide, which provides a helpful checklist of what to expect and how to prepare.
