Hi Surf Apartments - Lobby and Pool Area Refurbishment - Gold Coast

Hi Surf apartments required a solution to their existing lobby decor that had become a little tired and dated as commercial properties of this nature do. Spring Crest was engaged to provide a solution that brought the decor up to a standard that more reflected the property's coastal holiday atmosphere, whilst promoting an upmarket elegant look. The use of colour and texture was critical in acheiving a modern yet friendly "beachy" feel as well as providing servicability.
The indoor pool area also needed an updated refreshing look for the seat covers. We achieved this by using funky patterned outdoor fabric (mildew and stain resistant) - designed to withstand the hard wear and tear of constant use and spillages.

Moo Moo The Wine Bar and Grill - The Port Office Stamford Plaza Brisbane

Early in 2010 Spring Crest were commissioned to provide a curtain solution for the new Moo Moo The Wine Bar and Grill to be opened at the old Port Office building in Stamford Plaza Brisbane. The area consisted of a bar with a separating archway between 2 function areas. The archway was 3.7 metres across and the the same in width. The brief required the curtains to be double sided black velvet suspended from within the archway itself. Spring Crest devised a method of using a curved lightweight track fixed to the archway.

The curve in the arch required a graduated pleat around the archway. The curtains were made in four panels and fixed permanently to the tracks, then finished with a pair of striking black rope ties attached to chrome tie back hooks to complete the look. The feeling is one of sophisticated opulence in what is now one of Brisbane's premier Wine Bar Restaurants.

Spring Crest has also completed similar graduated curtains for solutions that have unusual shaped ceilings.

Spring Crest Curtains and Blinds were commissioned to provide the window covering solutions for this modern apartment complex. The brief required full blockout curtains in living areas and bedrooms. Roller blinds were also used in some areas where required.

Several issues came to the fore with this project. The client wanted the curtains to drape and frame the company logo on a feature wall within the store. Time was of the greatest importance as the store had an opening deadline of a week; we had to work quickly with the fabric manufacturer to have it airfreighted from London within days.

Within a day of arriving we were able to manufacture the curtains and ship to Sydney for installation.

All easily achievable as we totally control the manufacturing process and do not outsource to others. Now that is custom made!
