This is how the process works
The consultation
We will either make an appointment with you in Home or in our showroom. Sometimes it is better for the client to come into the showroom first to view our vast range of fabric, view the displays and and generally get a feel for what we can do and how we can go about getting you the best result. We will then make a time to do a site visit to measure your windows and make an assessment of technical aspects of the proposed work. This way we can make sure that what you want to acheive is physically possible. At this stage we will also bring to your home the short listed fabric samples to see what they look like on site. Once the site measure has been completed, we can then provide you with a costing proposal for the work. Once you have authorised the work and accepted our proposal the manufacturing process can begin. Fabric will be ordered as soon as possible after you have agreed to go ahead. The Manufacturing Paul and Coleen discuss each new order with our workroom supervisor. In some instances, this may involve a client meeting with the workroom supervisor too. When your fabric arrives at our premises, the entire meterage is rolled out over a back lit control panel & carefully checked for flaws. As each element is completed, it is inspected and checked for quality control. In the case of curtains we like to “pre hang” them for as long as possible, to train the pleats to sit as they should. We have a dedicated pre hang area for this – clients often like to come and see their curtains at this stage! We then personally inspect each job before it is packed and leaves our premises. When your order is ready for installation, each element is carefully wrapped and packed; curtains are carefully folded and placed in special cloth bags for delivery. Our installers are professionals who install to our high standards and industry guidelines. Our after sales service is second to none – we will advice you about the maintenance, care and cleaning of your curtains and blinds.
