There are many different metal tracks available from plain and sleek to fancy embellished. Most metal tracks tend to be plainer than their wooden counterparts and finished in either a metal anodised look or a colour powder coated look. Finials (or end caps) are usually available to match. These poles vary in diameter from around 40mm for a more substantial pole through to a 19mm pole - also called a tube slider. Each has its benefits and limitations depending and what look is trying to be achieved. You can see our range of metal poles and finials in our show room.

To finish off a decorative pole you can complete the look with decorative end caps or finials. These are usually available in colours to match.

Most people associate timber poles with the older style rods and rings. Whilst these are still readily available, we also have a more stylish type of timber pole that greatly compliments window decor. From the traditional wooden pole with a range of  finials to match, through to more contemporary timber poles to match the architectral features of your home. Our basic tracks are made from an extruded aluminium section and powder coated to several different colours that suit most decor. White, Birch White, Black, Matt Satin, Gold to name a few. Being aluminium and powder coated the tracks will not rust and corrode. All bracket hardware used is also powder coated to enhance the finish and add protection to the system. If looked after and regularly serviced most tracks should last for many years. These tracks can be made either hand drawn or cord drawn. We can recomend what is best for your application given usage and safety considerations.
